About Lucy
I first studied millinery at the London College of Fashion in 1993, and then worked for Herbert Johnson, a traditional hat-makers in New Bond Street where I apprenticed under the expert eye of Prudence.
In 1995 I began my own business, Lucy Till Hats, based in Richmond, Surrey, before a move to Oxfordshire. In 2002, I moved to the South of France with my family, and restarted the business with a boutique/atelier in St. Quentin la Poterie, a village known for its pottery and other artisan skills.
